Meditation for Relaxation & Stress Relief – In Person or Virtual

In this time of uncertainty and change you may be experiencing some stress and anxiety. Meditation is a great tool to help achieve a sense of balance and calm. One of the best practices for self-care, meditation, reconnects us to our centre, which alleviates our worries, anxieties and stress. This practice of quieting the mind can bring us greater focus, clarity and peace in all circumstances.
In this one hour you will learn three different meditation practices. In the first we will practice connecting with the Hara energy centre of our body. This practice is great for grounding. The second practice is connecting to our heart energy for releasing fear, anger and stress. The third is connecting to our heaven (mind) energy, this practice relaxes your mind, and helps with anxiety or worries and loneliness.
This meditation class is offered in-person at the centre (4 spots) and virtually live through Zoom.

Facilitator: Cristina’s practice is mainly based on the foundational principle of “Metta Bhavana” – loving kindness or compassion, where the healing process occurs naturally with compassion and trust. Cris invites her participants to receive with an open heart and mind. She believes that we all require self-care everyday whether physically, emotionally or mentally. She is very passionate about teaching Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage, Meditation and Reiki. She finds joy and healing in her work through the positive connection and energy exchange between her and her clients.
